Yes, I know! Mother’s Day is not all about the gifts but it doesn’t hurt! Actually, my favorite thing to do on Mother’s Day is to plant our garden. I can recruit everyone’s help with no complaining. I got that idea from my parents when every Mother’s Day came around,  a bazillion yards of mulch would be delivered and we’d spend the whole day wheelbarrowing it from the giant pile in the driveway to each flower bed. At least my kids don’t mind helping with the garden!

I LOVE getting flowers! I know not everyone feels this way, but if your mom, wife etc. loves them then I have two great options for you.

Go Local: You MUST go to Boise At Its Best! They have been in business a long time and do an amazing job. Plus the owner is spectacular! She put together this bouquet for me just to show you!

Workout Clothes 

Hopefully, your mom won’t take it the wrong way when you get her workout clothes. Ha! I struggle to buy them for myself because they can be a little more on the expensive side so I love to get this gift. Even better….a gift card so I can go shopping. 

The outfit in the picture is from Athleta. I’ve found that I like their leggings and shirts more than the competitors and I love that they feature mid-size and plus-size models in their marketing. 

Customized Nikes

Did you know that you can customize your own Nike shoes? Click here to go to their website and check them out. You click on different sections of the shoe and decide what color you want.  A gift card would be the best way to go here so she can style her own.

 Fun Sweatshirts 

I received the “Cool Mom” sweatshirt (pictured) for my birthday last year from my sister-in-law and I LOVE it. Number one, it is SO comfy but two, it’s so true! I think the “Mama” sweatshirt is just adorable and would be perfect for a new mom. It comes in a pretty light blue as well!

Jewelry

I love simple jewelry, and love the layered necklace look; so I picked a website that had pretty pieces. Check out gorjana.com. The initial necklace is fun and personalized and these earrings stole my heart!  

Pajamas 

If you are a man shopping for your wife…this is not the Holiday where we get sexy time jammies. For Mother’s Day let’s go for comfort. I did choose one with a sneaky side boob for a little surprise. (See pic) The other one is from Nordstrom and I think any mom would love this cute set. 

Spa Day

Treat your mom to some time off and get her a spa day! Most spas have packages that include a few different treatments, or you can get just one. Either way, a spa day is THE. BEST. You could gift a massage, manicure and/or pedicure, facial, or go big on laser hair removal or an IPL. If you don’t know what an IPL is (Intense Pulsed Light skin treatment) you need to talk to me. It is one of the best things I’ve done for my skin.

“Best Mom Ever” Mug/Starbucks Coffee Shop Gift Card

Isn’t this mug adorable? I’ve gotten my share of mugs over the years and I wouldn’t mind this one! I welcome a Starbucks card any day. It’s a fun pick-me-up treat, and I love being treated to it by someone else.
